Captain Cook Real Estate (formerly Captain Cook & Associates) is a full service real estate company located in the city of Honolulu on the island of Oahu in the great state of Hawaii.

Our Story
Bob Cook, Realtor in HonoluluBob Cook, our Principal Broker, also once a Captain in the army, hence our name Captain Cook, decided to start Captain Cook Real Estate over 20 years ago, when the real estate company he worked for got bought by a larger mainland company and Bob wanted to keep the personal touch of a locally owned Hawaii company. And, so far it has worked, probably better than he originally intended. Originally started as strictly real estate sales, Captain Cook Real Estate later added long term property management which now manages around 200 properties, as well as short term or vacation rentals in Waikiki, which consist of about 85 properties in various condos spread throughout Waikiki.

Real Estate Sales

Captain Cook Real Estate continues to provide excellent real estate advice to all types of clients from first time home buyers, to savvy real estate investors and everywhere in between. Whether you are first time home buyer, investor, experienced home buyer, or a current home owner, we can help. Some of our real estate agents can also speak Japanese( 日本語), as well as Tagalog.

Long Term Apartment, Town home, and House Rentals (6 month rental minimum)
 
We offer long term rentals in Honolulu, as well as other areas on Oahu such as Waikiki, Manoa, Kaimuki, Nuuanu, Diamond Head, Kahala, Moiliili, Hawaii Kai, Kalihi, Punchbowl, Aina Haina, Salt Lake, Palolo, Kailua, Kaneohe, and more). We generally do not have rentals on the North Shore, West Side, or Southwest side of Oahu. Our long term rentals have a minimum rental period of six months up to one year.

Vacation Rentals

If you prefer a short term rental or are in Hawaii on vacation, we provide vacation rentals in Waikiki. These rentals are fully furnished, fully stocked, privately owned condominiums which provide you with everything you should need while staying here in Hawaii. And, if something is missing, just tell us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Just bring your sandals and bathing suit and we will do the rest.

Property Management

Finally, we also specialize in residential property management for long term rentals and  vacation rentals primarily in the Honolulu area including Waikiki, Manoa, Kaimuki, Nuuanu, Diamond Head, Kahala, Moiliili, Kalihi, Punchbowl, Makiki, Salt Lake, Palolo, and other areas of Oahu). Whether it is a single family home, multi-family home, condo unit, or other type we can manage it. We have an experienced staff of professional property managers looking after your property and working in your best interest at all times.
